Refund Policy

At Bolt Carrier Gun Exchange (“BCGE”), we are committed to providing professional firearm training, gunsmithing services, and in-store firearm sales with honesty, transparency, and customer satisfaction in mind. Due to the nature of our services and products, all refund requests are subject to the terms outlined below.
By purchasing services, classes, or products from BCGE, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy.
1. Firearm Sales
All firearm sales are conducted in person at our gun store in Wayne, New Jersey location and must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Because firearm purchases involve background checks, legal documentation, and regulatory compliance, all firearm sales are considered final once the transfer process has been completed.
BCGE does not offer refunds on:
- Firearms
- Ammunition
- Special orders
- Transfer fees
- Background check fees
- Firearm accessories that have been used or opened
Customers are responsible for inspecting firearms and products prior to completing the purchase.
If a firearm is found to have a manufacturer defect, warranty claims must typically be handled directly through the manufacturer unless otherwise stated by BCGE.
2. Concealed Carry & Firearms Training Classes
We understand that scheduling conflicts may arise. Refunds or rescheduling for firearm training and concealed carry classes are handled as follows:
- Cancellations made at least 72 hours before the scheduled class may qualify for a class credit or rescheduling
- Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the class may not qualify for a refund
- No-shows are non-refundable
- Students removed from class due to unsafe, reckless, or disruptive behavior are not eligible for refunds
BCGE reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to weather, instructor availability, low enrollment, or safety concerns. If BCGE cancels a class, students will be offered either:
- A full refund, or
- The option to transfer into a future course
Training materials, range fees, and third-party costs may be non-refundable once incurred.
3. Gunsmithing Services
Refunds for gunsmithing services are evaluated on a case-by-case basis due to the custom nature of firearm repair and modification work.
Customers acknowledge that:
- Diagnostic fees may be non-refundable
- Deposits on custom work or ordered parts may be non-refundable
- Completion timelines are estimates and may vary based on parts availability or project scope
If concerns arise regarding completed gunsmithing work, customers should contact BCGE directly so the matter can be reviewed and addressed appropriately.
4. Returns & Exchanges
Returns or exchanges may be considered for unused merchandise in original packaging within a reasonable timeframe, subject to management approval.
The following items are generally not eligible for return:
- Firearms
- Ammunition
- Used firearm accessories
- Opened safety equipment
- Custom ordered items
- Special order products
Approved returns may be subject to restocking fees.
BCGE reserves the right to deny returns that do not meet policy requirements.
5. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will typically be processed back to the original form of payment within a reasonable processing period. Processing times may vary depending on financial institutions or payment providers.
Cash refunds may require additional verification and approval.
6. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:
- Understanding product specifications before purchase
- Verifying firearm legality and eligibility
- Arriving on time for scheduled classes
- Following all safety procedures and instructor guidance
Failure to comply with safety standards or legal requirements may result in denied services without refund.
7. Policy Changes
Bolt Carrier Gun Exchange reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will be posted on this website with the revised effective date.
